Not too long ago, Zee5 revealed that Sunny Singh and Avneet Kaur’s upcoming film Luv Ki Arrange Marriage will be a direct-to-OTT release. They shared so with the first poster of the movie. The poster hinted at it being a romantic-drama to watch out for. Here’s everything you wanted to know about the movie…

Cast and crew

While Sunny and Avneet star in the film in lead roles, the movie also features Annu Kapoor, Supriya Pathak and Rajpal Yadav. With that, you can be assured that it is a romantic-comedy waiting to be unravelled. The movie is also expected to star Paritosh Tripathi and Sudhir Pandey among others.

Luv Ki Arrange Marriage is directed by Ishrat Khan along with Syed Tabrez Pasha. It is produced by the Bhanushali brothers, Vinod and Kamlesh, alongside Raaj Shaandilyaa and Vimal Lahoti.

The plot

Luv is a small-town boy who falls in love with Ishika (Avneet kaur). It is their love story which is the highlight of the movie. The idea of the film is ‘love knows no age’ and with that, the lines between family and romance blurs. This is both beautiful and chaotic at the same time. The story is touted to bring about a fresh spin to traditional arranged marriages. This is evident in not just Luv and Ishika’s romance but also the second poster, in which Annu’s character puts sindoor on Supriya’s as she smiles and looks at him with fond eyes.

Release date

The makers are yet to announce the release date for the film. It is a Zee5 original movie which will be available for streaming on OTTplay Premium too.

Avneet Kaur unveils it from Cannes 2024

Avneet made her debut at Cannes this year. The actress had unveiled the poster of her upcoming film while she was at the festival. The actress was at Cannes for her International project, Love in Vietnam.
