Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor are actively promoting their forthcoming film, Loveyapa. Directed by Advait Chandan, this romantic comedy is set to be released in theaters on February 7, 2025. Junaid is the son of Aamir Khan, while Khushi is the daughter of Boney Kapoor and the late Sridevi. Recently, a week prior to the film's theatrical debut, news regarding its OTT release has emerged, indicating that it will be available on a prominent streaming service.

Loveyapa OTT platform revealed!

Loveyapa's OTT platform has been disclosed! Featuring Junaid and Khushi in leading roles, Loveyapa is scheduled to premiere in cinemas just before Valentine's Day. Produced by Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment, this romantic comedy incorporates elements appealing to the Gen Z audience. According to media sources, Loveyapa is expected to debut on Disney+ Hotstar following its theatrical release.

An official confirmation regarding the OTT release of Loveyapa is still pending, and the exact date for its availability on the streaming platform remains unknown. For those unfamiliar, Junaid made his acting debut in 2024 with Maharaj, while Khushi entered the entertainment industry through the Netflix film, The Archies.

Junaid Khan on Loveyapa's release

In a recent interview with Indian Express, Junaid Khan shared his desire to make Loveyapa available on YouTube for free viewing.

"I would like our film to reach as wide an audience as possible. If it were up to me, I would prefer to release it on YouTube and allow people to watch it for free. However, that is not a feasible option. Our producers and distributors possess the expertise to determine the best way for this film to reach a broader audience, whether through theaters, OTT platforms, or television," he stated.

Conversely, his co-star Khushi Kapoor remarked, "As actors, our approach does not significantly change based on the medium through which the film is presented."
