Love, Sitara starring Sobhita Dhulipala is streaming on ZEE5 (OTTplay Premium). Set against the backdrop of Kerala, Love, Sitara is a family drama showcasing the themes of acceptance, forgiveness, and love. Sitara (Sobhita Dhulipala) is an independent interior designer and Arjun (Rajeev Siddhartha) is a passionate chef. A marriage proposal comes out of the blue, putting their seemingly flawless relationship to the ultimate test. Days after the release, the makers shared a new promo of Love, Sitara featuring Sitara and Arjun announcing that they want to get married.

On September 29, ZEE5 shared a new promo of Love, Sitara. In the clip, we can see Sitara (Sobhita Dhulipala) and Arjun (Rajeev Siddhartha) informing their respective families that they ate going to get married. Hearing the news, their family members get excited. However, Sitara's grandma says, "Why the hell do people marry? Every time someone is murdered, the prime suspect is invariably the husband or the wife" making everyone laugh.

In this romantic family drama, we see Sitara discovering her pregnancy at the beginning of the film, despite having previously received information about her infertility. This welcomes the initial phase of complications, which later intensify when Tara, who had previously rejected the institution of marriage, proposes marriage to her beau, Arjun (Rajeev Siddhartha).

Love, Sitara covers topics from infidelity to premarital pregnancy and explores the concept of forgiveness. When Sitara asks her mother if cheating in marriage is acceptable, her mother replies that it depends on various factors. 

Meanwhile, speaking about her character in Love, Sitara, Sobhita earlier shared, "Playing Sitara has been a very meaningful journey for me, a coming-of-age in real life. Sitara is a character with interesting complexes - a successful interior designer attempting to understand the reasons for her own choices, her family dynamics and the patterns we inherit from family, unknowingly."
