Seung-hyo wants to find out Seok-ryu’s life that she has kept hidden
Hyeon-jun takes out his frustration while playing baseball. Seung-hyo tells someone that Hyeon-jun is a part of Seok-ryu's life in a way that he doesn't know about.
Seok-ryu accepts Hyeon-jun’s ring, keeps Seung-hyo in the dark
Hyeon-jun proposed to Seok-ryu again with a ring. He asks her to take a proper path so that she doesn't fail. Seok-ryu put on the ring again. When she confronts Seung-hyo about it, he is heartbroken that she did not even think about informing him about it. "This is how little I mean to you?," he asks with a shaky voice. He is not only upset as someone who loves her but also as her childhood friend.
Seok-ryu's big secret
Seok-ryu feels she is obliged to have Hyeon-jun by her side because he knows a secret she has been hiding from the world. Seok-ryu was diagnosed with stomach cancer and received treatment for the same, which is how she remained normal till now. It looks like the cancer has relapsed and she wants to keep the side of her life hidden from her childhood friend/crush Seung-hyo.
