Love Next Door’s sixth episode will release in a while, and needless to say, the secret Jung Hae-in's Choi Seung-hyo is hiding from Jung So-min's Bae Seok-ryu is about to be revealed. He is in love with her (or was), and she has just discovered that. Will it change their equation for good or for bad? Here’s what the sixth episode of Love Next Door (available on Netflix) brings…
Seung-ho judges Seok-ryu's first day of running away from her house
Seung-ho arrives at the destination, where Seok-ryu writes 'SOS' on sand. There, he hears her scream, "I want to go back!" and throw the stick with which she writes, away.
While the past Seung-ho wonders what she's doing, the present him knows exactly - it was her first day of running away from her house.
Seung-ho also observes Seok-ryu's first love confession and rejection
Seung-ho then observes Seok-ryu give a colleague Sun-bae a love letter. "This is from my heart," she says while giving the letter in person. He rejected her, stating that he's in third year and so, she should not give him the letter because he would graduate soon. He further asks her not to even have those feelings towards him.
Seeing her get rejected after her first ever confession, Seung-ho claps with dusters in his hands. He even gets judged by two girls for doing so, but all he cares about is that his BFF Seok-ryu just got turned down.
What led to the past being revealed?
Seung-ho had feelings for Seok-ryu since a long time, and in the time capsule, he wrote to his future self as if he would have proposed to Seok-ryu already. “I’m sure by now you would have told Seok-ryu about how you feel,” the first sentence in the letter read. Now, the very letter is in Seok-ryu’s hands and she reads it. The past incidents are connected to when Seung-ho exactly fell in love with Seok-ryu, thus giving us a glimpse of it too.
