The much-awaited K-Drama Love Next Door is out and the first episode has made the waves itself! Fans are in awe of the show already, and there are 16 episodes of Love Next Door in total! The first episode saw Bae Seok-ryu (Jung So-min) return to her old neighbourhood. There, she met her childhood friend Choi Seung-ho (Jung Hae-in). Seung-ho's mother and Seok-ryu's mother are friends too. Interestingly enough, Seok-ryu considers Seung-ho a dark chapter that leaves her embarrassed. She wants to leave that chapter behind. Seung-ho hosts a party, Seok-ryu is a part of it
Seung-ho is hosting an opening party for the new headquarters of his firm, Atelier In. His mother, Seo Hye-sook (Jang Young-nam)'s friends are invited too, and Seung-ho is hospitable to every guest at the party.

On the other hand, Seok-ryu wants to avoid Seung-ho but had to arrive at the party. Now, she wants to leave without Seung-ho noticing. But that is not possible. He sees her be awkward and gets concerned about what could be going on.

More trouble calls for Seok-ryu as she meets her own mother, Na Mi-sook (Park Ji-young) at the party. Mi-sook is not at all happy to see her daughter at the party. It definitely looks like more ghosts from the past will be revealed in the upcoming episode of the show.
