Jung Hae-in and Jung So-min's journey of friendship is about to come to an end since they will progress towards working on their feelings. In tonight's episode of Love Next Door, Seok-ryu and Seung-hyo will finally be a couple. It will happen in the midst of a tragedy, but the proposal takes place in a sunflower field and is among one of their heartwarming moments on the show. Seung-hyo and Seok-ryu maintain distance after thinking it is too late for a confession

Seung-hyo thinks it is over between him and Seok-ryu. She, too, is of the belief that a lot of time has passed to work on their feelings now. Suddenly, they share a moment laying on a mat, as Seok-ryu touches Seung-hyo and looks at him with warmth in her eyes.

The story of the second leads

Mo-geum (Kim Ji-eun), on the other hand, is still hiding from Dan-ho (Yoon Ji-on). It makes for a funny scene, for she is talking to Seung-hyo and suddenly covers her face in black plastic bag and runs. The plastic bag also flies off, but she continues running without answering her childhood friend.

Seung-hyo’s parents decide to get a divorce

Seung-hyo faces a tragic moment, since his parents have decided to part ways. It is still not certain whether his mother Hye-sook (Jang Young-nam) is having an affair, but his father Gyeong-jong (Lee Seung-joon) is certain about it and that has caused a strain on their relationship since a while now. Eventually, they inform Seung-hyo of their decision - they are getting divorced. Shattered on hearing so, Seung-hyo asks why is he being treated like that, and how could they make such a big decision without talking to him about it. "You both decided leaving and divorce on your own. Why don't you care about my feelings?," he asks them. Seung-hyo drowns all of his feelings behind shot glasses.

Seung-ho and Seok-ryu confess their feelings in a sunflower field, are finally a couple!

Seung-hyo and Seok-ryu finally become a couple! Seok-ryu tells Seung-hyo that she feels like time is moving too slowly because he's not with her. Thus, they meet in a sunflower field. There, they end up having a proposal and becoming a couple. They have finally acted upon their feelings and the further episodes will explore their romance blooming from a lasting friendship.
