Disney+ Hotstar is set to drop some exciting new shows this week on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2025. One of the highlights is Love Life Lafde, hosted by comedian Zakir Khan, where guests dive into the ups and downs of modern relationships with a fun and easygoing vibe.

The 30-second teaser released by the streaming platform showcases the talented comedian chatting with pairs like Tanmay Bhat and Barkha Singh, as well as Biswa Kalyan Rath and Maanvi Gagroo. It also features a bunch of other stars, including Farah Khan, Kunder, Siddharth, Parul Gulati, Zareen Khan, Kumar Varun, and Aaditya Kulshreshth, among others.

Zakir Khan's perspective on contemporary relationships

Zakir recently chatted with Hindustan Times about how relationships are always changing, especially with all the new dating terms and online platforms popping up.

He mentioned that he's pretty familiar with the lingo of today's dating scene. While these concepts are important now, they’re bound to evolve over time. No matter if you connect with someone on a rooftop, Facebook, or Tinder, love remains constant. Nothing can replace that feeling....

"Love never goes out of style"

You still get those butterflies when a loved one touches you, right? And that little spark in your stomach whenever they look your way? Those feelings stick around forever. No matter what happens in the next century, they'll always be there. Love knows no limits, whether it’s about where someone is, what language they speak, or even what they eat. Zakir believes that love is timeless and the ultimate reality.

In his artwork, he dives into his views on love. He quips, "Who really wants to date through apps?" and shares his thoughts on the psychology behind online dating. What drives people to it in the end? They’re just looking for something real. Everyone dreams of that chance encounter, running into someone unexpectedly. It seems like that first meeting is what everyone’s focused on; but why?

Zakir was asked about his thoughts on online dating, and he quickly set the record straight: he's not using any dating apps. Apparently, there are a bunch of profiles out there pretending to be him.
