We had earlier reported that actor Pradeep Ranganathan will be teaming up with filmmaker Vignesh Shivan for a Tamil film. The makers on Thursday released the first look poster of the film, which has been titled Love Insurance Kompany.

Love Insurance Kompany is the title of the upcoming Tamil film directed by Vignesh Shivan. The film stars actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role. The first-look poster has all the quirkiness that Vignesh Shivan is known for in his films. We see Pradeep Ranganathan reaching out to something that appears like a screen, from an ant's point of view. The poster looks whacky and colourful, giving a hint of how the film will appear to be.

It is to be noted that a few years ago Vignesh Shivan had announced the project with actor Sivakarthikeyan as Love Insurance Corporation. However, the film could not take off due to undisclosed reasons. Now, Vignesh Shivan has kickstarted the project with Pradeep Ranganathan.

Love Insurance Kompany is directed by filmmaker Vignesh Shivan. Besides Pradeep Ranganathan, the film also stars actors Krithi Shetty, SJ Suryah and others. The film will mark the first time Vignesh Shivan will be working with Pradeep Ranganathan.

The upcoming film is backed by Vignesh Shivan and Seven Screen Studio. Vignesh Shivan’s wife Nayanthara has been credited as the producer of the film. The technical crew consists of Sathyan Sooryan as the cinematographer, and Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music. The edits are handled by Pradeep E Raghav. A release date for Love Insurance Kompany is yet to be announced by the makers.

Meanwhile, Pradeep is known for helming films like Comali and Love Today. Vignesh Shivan’s last film to hit theatres is Kaathuvalala Rendhu Kaadhal, starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha. The director was supposed to have joined hands with actor Ajith Kumar. However, the project was dropped due to unknown reasons.
