Lokesh Kanagaraj and Jagadish Palanisamy are gearing up to produce a new Tamil movie called Mr Bhaarath. The film, which is written and directed by Niranjan, just dropped an introductory promo.

The promo kicks off with a group of guys confronting a boy about his unpaid debts, which he racked up after promising to promote videos on YouTube. While checking out the boy's phone, they stumble upon a contact named Mr Bharath. When they demand a ransom, Bharath insists he just wants his friend to be safe. In the meantime, we see Lokesh Kanagaraj playing the gang's leader, who interacts with the boy and his buddy. Lokesh suggests they create longer videos, but the mood lightens up when the boys mention they’re working on a film for G Squad, which is under Lokesh's production banner.

The new movie is set to star Bhaarath, Samyuktha Viswanathan, Bala Saravanan, Nidhi Pradeep, R. Sunder Rajan, Linga, and Adithya Kathir, among others. On the technical side, the music is by Pranav Muniraj, and Om Narayan is in charge of the cinematography. The film is produced by Sudhan Sundaram, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Jagadish Palanisami, with editing by Dhivakar Dennis and art direction by Bhavna Govardan.

From what we can see in the promo, it seems like Mr. Bhaarath is going to be a comedy drama. We’re still waiting for the release date to be revealed.

In the meantime, Lokesh is also producing a film called Benz, featuring Raghava Lawrence in the lead role. It’s directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan and will be part of the LCU films.
