Emily In Paris season 4 part 2 is finally out and unlike part 1, this receives love from all corners. Even though people are divided in Team Gabriel (France), Team Alfie (UK) and Team Marcello (Italy), their love for Emily In Paris 4 part 2 remains undivided. Now, all eyes are on Emily In Paris season 5. While many are left guessing where will it head, the lead actor Lily Collins went on to hint that it could continue in Italy. She actually expressed her will that it continues to explore the city and country. However, neither has the project been greenlit yet, nor do we know for sure what’s next up for Emily.

Lily Collins hints Emily In Paris 5 will be based in Italy

During her recent interview with Extra TV, Lily was asked if Emily has found the one in Marcello. To that, she replied, “We have to go down to season 5 to find that out, so I'm praying we finally get a greenlight and explore more of Italy. That would be so fun, to see more of the city and country, and to see what Marcello might bring to Emily. It's a very different vibe and energy, so I'm excited for Emily to find a different version of herself.”

However, Emily also went on to point out about Gabriel’s POV. She spoke of how the French ex-boyfriend was desperately searching for Emily, while she was out living her best life in Italy. So, of course, the door is also open for Emily to come back to Paris and reunite with Gabriel. However, Lily, like Team Marcella, wants Emily In Italy. It is to be noted that the makers also left a big hint this season through the title change suggesting ‘Emily In Rome?’ Further, the season also ends with Emily writing, “Emily In…,” thus leaving the door open for Italy.

Talking on Emily’s transformation (apart from the wardrobe which obvious went from loud and vibrant to chic and elegant), Lily pointed out the obvious difference between Paris and Italy. She spoke of how France was initially closed off to Emily and everything that happened after, while Italy welcomed her with open arms at the beginning (but we never know where the storyline is heading).

Lily, who travelled to England with her husband Charlie McDowell for their third wedding anniversary, also shared that she found Team Alfie during her visit to the streets of London. She has not been back to the States (USA) to know the general opinion, but one look on social media and you know all the men in Emily’s life have an equal fan-following.
