Acclaimed director Dr. VN Aditya is at the helm of the international film Phani. This exciting project is being produced by Dr. Meenakshi Anipindi under the OMG Productions banner and is presented by AU & I Studio. The talented Catherine Tresa stars as the lead, with Mahesh Sriram in a significant role. Phani is set to be released not only in Hindi but also in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and various other languages worldwide. The motion poster for Phani was unveiled today at a press conference in Hyderabad by the esteemed director K. Raghavendra Rao.

During the event, K. Raghavendra Rao remarked, “The name Aditya signifies the sun, which shines across all nations, and therefore, VN Aditya is creating Phani as a global film. Although I have not collaborated with Aditya before, he is among my favorites. He possesses the talent to work with both newcomers and established stars. His sister, Meenakshi is producing Phani. I recall Catherine from her portrayal as an MLA in Allu Arjun's Sarrainodu, and I am excited to see the character she will embody in this film. I extend my best wishes to the entire Phani team and hope for its tremendous success.”

Movie presenter Padmanabha Reddy expressed, “Throughout the production of Phani, a strong camaraderie developed within our team. This experience has brought me a joy unlike any other film. My sister Meenakshi and the entire crew have dedicated themselves to this project with enthusiasm. I am confident that Catherine will earn a National Award for her role in Phani, as we felt this way while viewing each of her scenes. Writer Padma shared, “When VN Aditya approached me regarding the film Phani, I anticipated he would discuss a romantic comedy or a love story. Actor Kasi Vishwanath remarked, “There have been numerous occasions where individuals or organizations faced challenges, and films centered around snakes aided them in achieving success. Heroine Catherine Tresa stated, “I extend my gratitude to director Raghavendra Rao garu for unveiling the motion poster of Phani. His presence here to support our team means a lot. When Aditya garu approached me for this project, I expressed my fear of snakes and requested that all my scenes involving them be created using CGI. He agreed, but ultimately, I found myself filming a scene with a real snake. The snake was so close to my face once we finished the scene—imagine my feelings! VN Aditya is known for his ability to shift genres and explore new concepts. This film is unlike anything I have done before. Our cast includes artists from various countries, and I hope it brings significant recognition to producer Meenakshi garu. We aim to release Phani in May.”

Director Dr. VN Aditya shared, “Whenever I visit the United States, I stay at my sister Meenakshi and brother-in-law Sastry garu's residence, from which I travel to various states. Despite our numerous meetings, the thought of collaborating on a film never crossed our minds. However, when they proposed to produce a film with me under their OMG Productions label, I felt a sense of apprehension. Unlike other producers who typically come well-prepared to enter the industry, they simply saw me and decided to venture into production. Consequently, I took it upon myself to handle all the preparations. As Meenakshi pointed out, we began Phani as a modest project. The film reached new heights when Catherine garu agreed to join the cast, ultimately transforming it into a global production. Catherine has shown remarkable dedication since signing on, actively participating in workshops. Mahesh Sriram has also been extremely supportive. Our entire team is passionately committed to Phani, and we look forward to presenting it to you with a spectacular theatrical release soon.”
