Singer-actor Lee Junho has officially secured his new co-star for the forthcoming drama "Typhoon Company" (literal title).

Kim Min Ha, the South Korean actress who rose to international prominence for her performance in the acclaimed AppleTV+ series Pachinko (alongside Lee Min Ho) in 2022, is poised to assume the role of the female lead in the upcoming tvN drama series.

She has recently garnered attention once more for her role in the star-studded cast of the Disney+ mystery horror series Light Shop. Based on Kang Full's webtoon, this new streaming favorite also features Ju Ji Hoon, Park Bo Young, Uhm Tae Goo, Bae Seong Woo, Lee Jeung Eun, Shin Eun Soo, among others.

About Lee Junho and Kim Min Ha's new K-drama

Regarding the new K-drama featuring Lee Junho and Kim Min Ha, the actor known for his role in King the Land will portray Kang Tae Poong, a CEO striving to preserve the small business inherited from his father. Set against the backdrop of the 1997 IMF crisis, the narrative follows Tae Poong's journey as he must mature into a “true adult” to confront the challenges ahead and accept his responsibilities.

In contrast, Kim Min Ha will portray a bookkeeper at the Typhoon Company. Unlike Tae Poong's initially immature demeanor, her character, Oh Mi Seon, will be a capable eldest daughter who bears significant responsibilities within her family. In a classic opposites-attract dynamic, the duo will navigate the IMF crisis together.

The drama "Typhoon Company" will be directed by Lee Na Jeong, known for her work on popular series such as Fight for My Way, Love Alarm, and See You in My 19th Life. The new tvN drama is anticipated to premiere in the latter half of 2025.

Fans of Junho can look forward to this project, as it is not the only endeavor he is leading this year. His Netflix drama Cashero is also scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2025.
