Lee Jun-hyuk and Shin Hae-sun, who co-starred in Stranger Season 1, are poised to appear in the forthcoming mystery series titled The Art of Sarah (working title). Following his rise to prominence through his performance in Love Scout, Jun-hyuk is preparing for this new mystery drama, with the production officially confirmed by the creators.

On January 22, Netflix K-content announced the production of the mystery drama titled The Art of Sarah via their Instagram account, unveiling the cast during a script reading session that included Shin Hae-sun and Lee Jun-hyuk. 

The producers also posted images of the lead actors from the script reading, which garnered significant appreciation from K-drama enthusiasts.

The Art of Sarah (working title) narrates the intriguing tale of Sarah Kim (Shin Hae-sun), a name that resonates widely yet remains shrouded in obscurity. In contrast, a determined detective (Lee Jun-hyuk) embarks on an investigation into her various aliases, ages, professions, and histories.

Hae-sun portrays Sarah Kim, the head of a prestigious luxury brand in Asia. Despite her name being well-known, Sarah is an enigmatic and elusive personality. Set against the backdrop of the opulent world of the elite, the narrative unfolds as Sarah unexpectedly finds herself implicated in a perplexing murder investigation. The drama delves into her concealed past and enigmatic identity.

Jun-hyuk takes on the role of Mu Gyeong, a sharp-eyed detective who relentlessly pursues the case, driving the story forward. As Gyeong investigates, he slowly uncovers the mystery surrounding Sarah, known by different names, ages, professions, and backgrounds.

In response to the announcement, one fan expressed enthusiasm, stating, "This is going to be incredible, especially knowing it is directed by the same individual behind My Name and Extracurricular. The Art of Sarah is helmed by Kim Jin-min, known for his work on Extracurricular and My Name. The series features cinematography by Joo Sang-lim and editing by Nam Na-young, who is recognized for her contributions to Squid Game. The costume design for The Art of Sarah is crafted by Cho Sang-kyung.
