Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam is about a father and son's crazy story, who go wild after their account is credited with Rs 80 000. What happens to a lower middle-class father when he sees such an amount is showcased in a hilarious manner in the promos.
When asked about the same director, Lakshman says that the idea was generated from his own personal life experience. A few years ago, when he was struggling, his bank account had the same credit of Rs 80,000. Lakshman says the comedy surrounding the money being credited is showcased in a hilarious manner.
The young director also adds that when Sukumar's wife, Tabitha, learned about our film, she watched a special show and loved it big time. She then met the producers of Mythri Movie Makers, who later decided to release the film on a grand note in Telugu states.

Rao Ramesh is a seasoned actor with unique comedy timing. Lakshman says we have tapped more into his satirical side of humor and showcased him in a hilarious manner. "Rao Ramesh Garu is a laugh riot in the film. His comedy and emotional moments are among the best aspects that will impress everyone," says Lakshman.
