The big theatrical release of the week, one could argue, is Thalapathy Vijay’s The G.O.A.T, but it’s not getting a dubbed in Kannada outing, at least as per ticket aggregators. The original Kannada releases for the week include a Rakshit Shetty production, while the OTT options so far are mostly dubbed titles.

Ibbani Tabbida Ileyali
The second Paramvah Studios’ production to hit theatres this year marks the debut of Chandrajith Belliappa as director. A love story that has Vihan, Ankita Amar and Mayuri Nataraja in pivotal roles, Ibbani Tabbida Ileyali brings Geethanjali fame Girija Shettar back to cinema after 3 decades. The film’s music by Gagan Baderiya has already become a talking point.

A Day in Dollarspete
A dark comedy thriller, directed by Mohan N Muninarayanappa, is set in the fictional town of Dollarspete, where the protagonist loses a sizeable amount of money. What happens thereafter is the crux of the narrative. Sowmya Jaganmurthy, Akarsh Kamala, Kushal S and Venkat Raj are in lead roles, while Dia fame Pruthvi Ambaar has a pivotal cameo.

Fall Guy
Director David Leitch’s action comedy, starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt in the lead, follows a stunt man working on his ex’s directorial debut, on the set of which, he inadvertently gets pulled into a controversy involving the film’s leading man, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Also on the cast are Winston Duke, Hannah Waddingham and Teresa Palmer, among others. The film is available with Kannada audio option.

Adios Amigo
The Malayalam original comedy drama directed by Nahas Nazar, Adios Amigo has Suraj Venjaramoodu and Asif Ali in the lead, as two men from vastly different socio-economic backgrounds, whose paths cross. A Kannada-dubbed version will also be available to stream.

Call me Bae
This 8-episode comedy drama has Ananya Panday in the lead as a riches-to-rags former heiress, who relies on her street smartness and style to find her footing again.
