It’s a dull week for Kannada original content, what with only 1 title on OTT and 1 new film in theatres. There’s a re-release of a popular Kiccha Sudeep film, which should make his fans happy, considering that there’s still no news of when his next, Max will hit theatres. Here are this week’s OTT releases (Kannada original and dubbed) and theatrical outings.

Bayaluseeme Babu

Chetan Kumar Dharmappa, who was most recently seen in the Kannada mini Series Colors, has directed and starred in the comedy Bayaluseeme Babu, which is getting a direct-to-OTT outing this week. The film also stars Payal Chengappa.

Brinda

Popular actress Trisha makes her OTT debut with Brinda, a Telugu original web series, in which she plays a cop. Directed by Surya Manoj, the series, which also stars Ravindra Vijay in a key role will be available with Kannada audio as well.

Ishq

A Kannada romantic comedy, written and directed by Vinay Raghavendra, who has also served as cinematographer and co-producer, Ishq – Don’t Fall in Love follows the protagonist, who, after a breakup decides to stay single. But with his parents desperately trying to get their son ‘settled’ will he find love again? The film stars Raju Thyagaraju, Shweta Bhat Karwar, Chetan Durga, Srujan Belmannu, Shashank Raghavendra, among others.

Hebbuli

Kiccha Sudeep’s 2017 collaboration with cinematographer-director S Krishna had the actor playing para commando called Captain Ram, and his investigation into the suspicious death of his brother. Sudeep was paired with Amala Paul in the film, which also starred Ravichandran, Kabir Duhan Singh, Ravi Kishan, Chikkanna, P Ravi Shankar, among others.
