The Kannada box office has finally heaved a sigh of relief, what with films like Bheema and Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi giving it a mighty boost. Do the films that are releasing in the coming weeks have the potential to keep this momentum going, though? In theatres, there are a few Kannada original titles, including a comedy, a supernatural thriller and a drama, among others.
On OTT, the big release of the week is, no doubt, Prabhas’ latest, which is headed to two platforms. The Hindi version is going to one streamer, while the south versions, including the Kannada dubbed one, are on another.
