The international box office performance was even poorer, with overseas earnings totaling only Rs 50 lakh, resulting in a global revenue of less than Rs 4 crore. This outcome positions Laila as the most significant box office failure in Vishwak Sen's career thus far.

Prior to its debut, the film received extensive marketing, particularly in Telangana, where it achieved a satisfactory opening. Nevertheless, from the second screening onward, attendance plummeted significantly due to unfavorable reviews.
