Lady Gaga's latest movie, Joker: Folie à Deux, was one of the most hyped films of the year. It hit theaters to a mix of reviews and didn’t do so well financially. While hosting Saturday Night Live this week, Gaga took a lighthearted jab at the film's box office flop and mentioned its recognition at the Razzie Awards.

In her opening monologue, Lady Gaga shared, "So, I’m officially an actor now. I’m picking films that really let me show off my skills, like Joker 2. Apparently, folks thought it was pretty great. Joaquin [Phoenix] and I even snagged a Razzie nomination, which is for the worst movies of the year. So, we took home the award for worst onscreen duo."

She continued with a laugh, “But hey, I’m all about winning! That Razzie just brings me closer to an EGORT. It’s like an EGOT, but with a twist.” She wrapped up by saying, “Tonight, I promise to act, sing, and definitely not do Joker 3.”

Joker 2 is on the way!

Joker: Folie à Deux is a psychological thriller directed by Todd Phillips and serves as a follow-up to the original Joker film. Joaquin Phoenix is back as the Joker, and Lady Gaga joins the cast as his love interest, Lee Quinzel. The movie also features Zazie Beetz, Leigh Gill, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Steve Coogan, and Harry Lawtey.

This sequel snagged 7 nominations at the Razzie Awards, taking home the award for worst prequel, sequel, remake, or rip-off, as well as for screen combo.

In other news, Lady Gaga just dropped her sixth solo album called Mayhem, which includes 14 tracks, featuring the previously released songs Disease and Die With a Smile, the latter of which earned her a Grammy Award.
