Mohanlal is busy in his acting career, with some promising projects in his kitty. The Malayalam superstar is teaming up with director Tharun Moorthy for his 360th outing in Malayalam cinema, which has been tentatively titled L360, and is currently nearing the final stages of its production. Even though Mohanlal was supposed to resume the L360 shoot in August 2024, it has been delayed due to the leading man’s health issues. Meanwhile, the makers are planning to reveal the L360 title, very soon.

L360 title announcement soon?

Director Tharun Moorthy and his team are gearing up to reveal the L360 title with an official update, very soon. The talented filmmaker recently took to his official social media and made a special post, after his second directorial venture Saudi Vellakka won the National Film Award for the Best Malayalam Film. The director, who penned a heartfelt note expressing happiness over the big win of the film, hinted that the Mohanlal starrer is set to get its official title soon. “#NextL360 #UpdateSoon #TitleLocked,” reads Tharun Moorthy’s post.

L360 to get a November 2024 release?

If the reports are to be believed, the makers of L360 are gearing up to hit the theatres in November 2024. Earlier, it was reported that the release of the movie might get postponed to January 2024, after the changes in the release plans of Mohanlal’s directorial debut Barroz. However, the makers of L360 are reportedly planning to release the film in November, exactly a month after the release of Barroz.

The Mohanlal is scripted by director Tharun Moorthy and KR Sunil. Shobana appears as the female lead in the highly anticipated film, which features a massive star cast including Maniyanpilla Raju, Farhaan Faasil, Aarsha Chandini Baiju, Binu Pappu, and others in the supporting roles. Jakes Bejoy is composing the songs and original score. Shaji Kumar handles the cinematography. L360 is bankrolled by M Renjith, under the popular banner Rejaputhra Films.
