L2 Empuraan, the newly launched Malayalam action thriller movie featuring Mohanlal in the main role, is currently available for streaming. L2 Empuraan out on OTT: Where to stream Mohanlal-Prithviraj’s film in four languages right now

Actor Mohanlal, who is looking forward to the release of his film Thudarum alongside Shobana on April 25, was recently seen in the Malayalam action thriller movie L2 Empuraan. The film is written by Murali Gopy and features actor Prithviraj Sukumaran as the director. Having premiered in theaters in March, L2 Empuraan is now ready for streaming. JioHotstar has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights for the film.

Produced by Antony Perumbavoor, Subaskaran Allirajah, and Gokulam Gopalan under their respective banners Aashirvad Cinemas, Lyca Productions, and Sree Gokulam Movies, L2 Empuraan features a cast of stars, including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Abhimanyu Singh, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Jerome Flynn, Andrea Tivadar, Saikumar, Baiju Santhosh, Suraj Venjaramoodu, among others. Pranav Mohanlal portrays the younger version of his father's onscreen character Khureshi-Ab'raam aka Stephen Nedumpally.

However, the release of Empuraan was not straightforward, as it became embroiled in controversy after certain right-wing groups criticized the film for specific scenes that resembled the 2002 Gujarat riots. Changes were implemented to the film, and Mohanlal also posted an apology note on social media.
