L2 Empuraan is poised for its highly anticipated release in March 2025, with Prithviraj Sukumaran actively generating excitement through various updates and character reveals. In his most recent announcement, Prithviraj unveiled a new poster featuring Mohanlal from the second chapter of the Lucifer series, much to the delight of fans.

On Friday, Prithviraj Sukumaran utilized his social media platforms to present a poster of Mohanlal, known as Khureshi-Ab'raam, from Empuraan. The poster depicts a dapper Mohanlal preparing to disembark from a helicopter. Dressed entirely in black and sporting a beard, the Malayalam icon is complemented by a backdrop of black vehicles and the helicopter itself. In his social media post, director and actor Prithviraj remarked, “33 days to touch down.”

Shortly after Prithviraj unveiled the stylish poster of Mohanlal, fans inundated the comment section with fire emojis. One admirer remarked, “The King of Mollywood is Coming,” while several netizens commended ‘fanboy’ Prithviraj for showcasing the Malayalam superstar in an exceptional manner.

Mohanlal's appearance in the latest poster resembles that of Khureshi-Ab'raam. For those unfamiliar, Mohanlal portrayed Stephen Nedumpally in the film Lucifer, but the character ultimately reveals himself as Khureshi-Ab'raam towards the conclusion, paving the way for the sequel. The upcoming film, Empuraan, is expected to provide further insights into this character. It is noteworthy that Stephen was depicted in a politician's traditional all-white attire, whereas Khureshi was characterized by his black outfits and sunglasses.

Following the release of the Khureshi-Ab'raam poster, several netizens began to draw comparisons between the two characters from the respective films. Fans of Lalettan are anticipating a highly successful opening, with some asserting that all previous records will be surpassed by Stephen.
