According to the most recent box office report from Sacnilk.com, the film earned ₹8.59 crore on Monday during the Eid celebrations, bringing its total earnings to ₹67.59 crore. This total surpasses the lifetime earnings of Lucifer, which, as reported by Sacnilk.com, stands at ₹65.21 crore.

On its opening day, the film exceeded box office predictions by generating a remarkable ₹21 crore, which is double the previous record for any Malayalam film.
However, on the second day, the earnings decreased to ₹11.1 crore, while the third day saw a stable collection of ₹13.25 crore. The film is currently in competition at the box office with Salman Khan's Eid release, Sikandar, which premiered nationwide on March 30.
About the film
The action thriller, helmed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and penned by Murali Gopy, serves as the second chapter in the Lucifer trilogy. The film features Mohanlal, along with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Abhimanyu Singh, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Andrea Tivadar, Jerome Flynn, Eriq Ebouaney, and Suraj Venjaramoodu.
Following the release of L2 Empuraan, the film's team faced criticism for its depiction of the 2002 Gujarat riots. In response, Mohanlal issued an apology, assuring that the contentious scenes would be removed. He expressed in Malayalam, "I have learned that certain political and social themes presented in the film Empuran, the second installment of the Lucifer series, have caused significant distress to many of my dear ones. As an artist, it is my responsibility to ensure that none of my films promote animosity towards any political movement, ideology, or community."
In light of speculation that Mohanlal had not viewed the film's final cut, Prithviraj’s mother, Mallika Sukumaran, defended him, suggesting that the responsibility lay solely with Prithviraj.
