L2 Empuraan box office earnings on day 2: The much-awaited action drama featuring Mohanlal and directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran premiered in theaters on March 27. Following a record-breaking opening day, the film experienced a decline in revenue on Friday. According to the most recent box office report from Sacnilk.com, the film has accumulated ₹ 33.25 crores to date.

The report indicates that L2: Empuraan experienced a decline in earnings on its second day. According to preliminary estimates, the film garnered ₹11.75 crore on Friday. On its opening day, the sequel surpassed box office predictions by earning a remarkable ₹21.5 crore, setting a new record for any Malayalam film, which is double the previous high. After two days of screening, the film's total box office collection stands at ₹33.25 crore.

Additionally, the report noted that L2: Empuraan achieved an overall Malayalam occupancy rate of 42.13 percent on Friday, while its Hindi occupancy was recorded at 4.69 percent. It will be intriguing to observe whether the film gains momentum over the weekend, especially as it will encounter significant competition at the box office with the release of Salman Khan's Sikandar on March 30.
