David Dhawan's 2000 film Kunwara is one of the most entertaining films of all time. Starring Govinda and Urmila Matondkar in the lead roles, the movie is a romantic comedy. The film opened to positive feedback upon its theatrical release on 14 July 2000. Today, the film completed 24 years of its release. Helmed by David Dhawan, Kunwara is available for streaming on ShemarooMe. The story of the film revolves around Raju and Urmila, played by Govinda and Urmila Matondkar who meet each other in New Zealand and promise to meet in India again. However, while on his way back when Raju agrees to help a woman and decides to masquerade as her husband, he later finds out that she is Urmila's sister. Will Raju clear the air with Urmila and win her back? Watch the film and know it all.

Meanwhile, Urmila and Govinda's chemistry in the film which comes with loads of laughter was one of the highlights of the film. Earlier, while complimenting Govinda in the reality show DID Super Moms, Urmila Matondkar said, "I have always been a huge fan of Govinda and I have watched all of his films. He is truly someone who will catch your eye and I believe no matter who the actress is, if she is dancing next to Govinda, then the audience will only be watching him in the song."

Besides Govinda and Urmila, the film also starred Nagma, Om Puri, Kader Khan, and Johnny Lever in important roles. The film is a remake of the Telugu film Bavagaru Bagunnara.
