Kummatikali Trailer: For Madhav Suresh and his gang, it's a tale of 'survival of the fittest'

The makers of Madhav Suresh's debut film, Kummatikali, have released a trailer today (September 21). The video shows a glimpse into the lead characters and some intriguing action sequences. The action drama, which was slated to premiere on the big screen in September in conjunction with Onam, will now have a theatrical debut in October.

Madhav presents himself as Dennis, a member of the Kummati Boys gang who resides in a seaside community, in the film's trailer. Additionally, it depicts Lena as a loving mother who has raised the group—which also includes three other boys—since they were young. She is heard elaborating on the rationale behind referring to them as the Kummati Boys group.
In addition, the film depicts the guys getting into serious trouble for themselves while clashing with some of the powerful individuals in their area. It also provides a glimpse of Dennis's romantic interest and Lena's resolute choice to exact retribution on her foes. A bit of Madhav shaking his legs to Kerala's renowned dance known as Kummattikali, or mask dance, is also included in the video. This mask dance is performed during the Malayalam months of Makaram and Kumbham at the beginning of the year.

Everyone was excited to watch the star child perform on screen as soon as the project was revealed. While some applauded Madhav for his thrilling Malayalam cinema debut, others pointed out that the entire narrative is revealed in the teaser.
Devika Satheesh and Yami Sona are Kummatikali's leading ladies. Mithun Prakash, Rashik Ajmal, Dhananjay, Lena, Mime Gopi, Antony Dinesh, Azeez Nedumangad, Major Ravi, Sarish, and Sanjeev Jeevan are among the supporting cast members of this action drama. The movie's screenplay was also written by the director. The camera work has been handled by Venkiy, and Don Max serves as the editor. The movie is being distributed in theatres by Kadathanadan Cinemas.
