The makers of Kummatikali announced another important update regarding the film's theatrical release. The action drama, which was earlier slated to hit the big screen on September 13, is now postponed to September 20. Madhav Suresh, the son of Malayalam actor and BJP MP Suresh Gopi, will mark his acting debut with this movie.
If the film releases on the new date, it would be shown in theatres alongside Biju Menon's Kadha Innuvare and Suraj Venjaramoodu's Thekku Vadakku. R K Vincent Selva has helmed Kummatikali.
Kummatikali new release date
The announcement of the delay in the film's theatrical debut came with no further details. It is reasonable to presume, though, that the Onam releases—Ajayante Randam Moshanam and Kishkindha Kaandam, for example—are getting positive reviews in theatres. Due to Vijay's The Greatest Of All Time, ARM, Kishkindha Kaandam, and Kondal taking up the majority of the screens around the state, there may not have been enough screens available, which further contributed to the postponement.
All about Madhav Suresh's Kummatikali
Madhav portrays Dennis, a youngster who lives by the coastline and is a member of the Kummati Boys gang, according to the film's trailer. It also demonstrates his opposition to individuals stealing the only source of money of the community. As a loving mother who has raised her four boys since they were young, Lena is depicted.
A small footage of Kummattikali, or mask dance, a traditional dance form from Kerala, is also included in the trailer, which was released earlier this year. Many have commended Madhav for his thrilling Malayalam cinema debut, raising expectations of Suresh Gopi's fans.
Devika Satheesh and Yami Sona are playing the female leads of this action drama. Mithun Prakash, Rashik Ajmal, Dhananjay, Lena, Mime Gopi, Antony Dinesh, Azeez Nedumangad, Major Ravi, Sarish, and Sanjeev Jeevan are among the supporting cast members of this action drama. The movie's screenplay was also written by the director.
