Actor Dhanush, who recently celebrated the release of his third directorial venture, Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, has an array of films set to debut this year. On Thursday, the producers of his film Kubera confirmed that it is scheduled for release in June. Furthermore, the streaming partner for the film has been disclosed, with Prime Video acquiring the OTT rights for this Dhanush-led drama.

Kubera OTT partner revealed!

It has been previously announced that actor Dhanush will be featured in the film Kubera, directed by Telugu filmmaker Sekhar Kammula. Scheduled for release in theaters on June 20, this film is among the most anticipated projects in Dhanush's upcoming slate. In conjunction with the announcement of the release date, the producers of Kubera disclosed their partnership with an OTT platform. Prime Video has secured the streaming rights for the film. Although the specific date for the OTT release has not yet been disclosed, it is confirmed that Kubera will be available on Prime Video following its theatrical run. The cast also includes notable actors such as Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jib Sarbh.

Directed by Sekhar Kammula, Kubera is set for a multi-lingual release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and other languages. The film was filmed in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

Kubera theatrical release date:

The theatrical release date for Kubera is June 20. The music for the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with cinematography by Niketh Bommi. The editing is handled by Karthika Srinivas.

Kubera is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd.

Although the storyline of Kubera has not been disclosed, it appears to explore themes related to money and the varying perspectives of different characters towards it. The title, which references the God of wealth, signifies Dhanush's first collaboration with Sekhar Kammula and the rest of the cast.

In the meantime, Dhanush is also set to appear in Idly Kadai, which is scheduled for release on April 10.
