Actors Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna and Nagarjuna Akkineni will be starring together in the film titled Kubera. The film is helmed by director Sekhar Kammula. On Friday, the makers released the first glimpse from the film. Read on further to know what the teaser reveals about the film.

Kubera first glimpse out

Dhanush, who is known for showing versatility in his performances, will be starring in the upcoming bilingual film titled Kubera.

Kubera also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Jim Sarbh and others. As per the promotional materials released by the makers so far, Kubera is expected to revolve around money. The film’s title also refers to God of Wealth.

On Friday, the makers released the first glimpse of the film. The film is directed by Sekhar Kammula.

The first glimpse gives us a peek into the characters of the main cast. With no dialogues, we see the glimpse showing Dhanush as a man leading a humble life in the slums. However he seems to be still content, while on the other hand, we have Nagarjuna as a highly successful and happy man living in Mumbai with his family. There is also Jim Sarbh as a high-flying billionaire businessman, while Rashmika Mandanna's character seems to struggle with discontent in her middle-class life, longing for more progress.

Kubera release date

The makers of Kubera have not yet announced the release date of the film. Kubera is shot simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. The technical crew consists of music scored by Devi Sri Prasad with camera cranked by Niketh Bommi. The editor of the film is Karthika Srinivas.

Meanwhile, Dhanush who was last seen in Raayan, is directing two films after it; Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam and Idly Kadai. The actor also has a film with Aanand L Rai titled Tere Ishq Mein. Dhanush also has a film which is a biopic on Ilaiyaraaja and, one with Mari Selvaraj after Karnan.
