Fans have been eagerly waiting for the fourth movie since Krrish 3 was released in 2013. Despite various rumours, the confirmation that the film is in the works has fueled excitement. Now, Rakesh Roshan, the director of the franchise, has finally given an official update on the status of the Hrithik Roshan-led film and whether Jadoo, the beloved character, will return.

Krrish 4 Delay Explained by Rakesh Roshan

For those who are unfamiliar, Krrish 4 has been in the works for quite some time, with fans waiting eagerly for concrete updates. The film is set to bring Hrithik Roshan back in his iconic superhero role, but whether Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut will reprise their roles is still uncertain. There have also been rumours about the return of Jadoo in the fourth instalment. In a recent interview with Movie Talkies, Rakesh Roshan, the director of the franchise, discussed the delays in bringing the movie to production. While he confirmed that the film is still on track, he explained that budget issues have caused the holdup. However, he reassured fans that the movie will be a grand, high-budget spectacle and he is working to accelerate its progress.

Rakesh Roshan explained, “Krrish 4 will definitely happen soon. The only issue right now is the budget. It's a high-budget film that demands a large scale. If we try to reduce the budget, it would affect the storyline, and I don’t want to compromise on that. I’m committed to getting the budget and scale right before we begin work on it.”

Will Jadoo Return?

In the same conversation, Rakesh Roshan responded to rumours about Jadoo's return in Krrish 4. While he chose not to confirm anything, he urged fans not to believe the speculation. He said, “No, I’m not going to reveal anything, but our script is ready. I’m happy with the idea. Don’t believe the rumours. We’ll begin once we are fully prepared.”
