The makers of Vettaiyan released the first single from the Rajinikanth-starrer film, Manasilaayo, on social media, which has become the new social media trend. The catchy tune composed by Anirudh Ravichander has become popular among the fans. In the latest, Rajinikanth along with his Coolie team performed for the song.

Coolie X Vettaiyan

Recently, the makers of the Rajinikanth-starrer film released the first single from the upcoming Tamil film Vettaiyan. Called Manasilaayo, the song is penned by Vishnnu Edavan and Super Subu, with vocals by late singer Malaysia Vasudevan, Yugendran Vasudevan, Anirudh Ravichander, and Deepthi Suresh.

Scored by Anirudh Ravichander, the song became an instant chartbuster. Malaysia Vasudevan’s vocals were recreated using AI technology. For the occasion of Onam on Sunday, the makers of Vettaiyan released a special video from the sets of Rajinikanth’s next film Coolie. The video shows the actor performing the steps of Manasilaayo in his cool and stylish manner, along with the crew of Coolie. Rajinikanth and the others are seen wearing the traditional mundu as they shake a leg for Manasilaayo. The crew is seen having a pleasant time as Rajinikanth teaches them the hook stop of the song.

Vettaiyan is scheduled to release on October 10 and is directed by TJ Gnanavel. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan and others.

More on Coolie

Coolie is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and is expected to be a gangster action drama. Anirudh is scoring music for this film as well. It is bankrolled by Sun Pictures and also features several known faces like actors Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Upendra, and Shruti Haasan, among others.

The technical crew consists of Girish Gangadharan cranking the camera and National Award-winning stunt coordinator Anbariv associated with the project. A release date for the film is yet to be announced by the team. However, it is speculated that the team is eyeing for June 2025 release.
