Kondal actor Antony Varghese reveals release date, what to expect from Daveed

Varghese Antony Pepe talked in an online media outlet interview about his next movie, Daveed. The actor, who is playing the protagonist in the Malayalam upcoming action thriller Kondal, stated that Daveed is another exciting project of his lined up for this year. He disclosed that either by year's end or in January 2025, the family entertainer will be released in theatres. "We are aiming for a December release. He stated that 90% of the shooting was completed, with only the climax and a flashback sequence still to be filmed.

Last month, Antony posted a blurry picture of himself from the movie with a pair of boxing gloves emphasized in the foreground, hinting at his character being a boxer. The film's makers and the RDX star announced on social media on August 18 that the first schedule's filming had been completed. Daveed, which is touted to be an action drama film, was co-written by Deepu Rajeevan and directed by Govind Vishnu.
Lijomol Jose, Vijayaraghavan, Saiju Kurup, Kichu Tellis, Jess Kukku, and Muhammad Karakki will also be seen in key parts in Daveed. Along with action choreography by PC Stunts, the film's makers say it will also feature a group of competent and experienced martial artists.
Pepe's Kondal to release on September 13
On September 13, the actor's most recent movie, Kondal, is scheduled to make its theatrical premiere. The teaser for the movie suggests that Antony Varghese is preparing to reprise his role as the beloved action hero. The trailer for the film portrays the actor's character, Manuel, as an aimless and intoxicated young guy, creating the idea that the story takes place on a beach. Meanwhile, there are times when Antony's portrayal in Kondal is reminiscent of his feisty past personas, including Vincent Pepe in Angamaly Diaries and Lali in Ajagajantharam.
