Malayalam had an amazing first half of 2024 with many successful box office movies across multiple genres. Even if there weren't many films released in theatres throughout the last two months of this year, there are a few flicks in September that are guaranteed to grab audiences' attention. The majority of them will be seen on enormous screens next month during Onam.
Malayalam theatrical releases in September
Ajayante Randam Moshanam (September 13)
Maniyan, Kunjikelu, and Ajayan are the main protagonists in the movie; they are all supposedly trying to protect the richest fortune in the area. In the film, Tovino portrays three characters for the first time in his career. Supporting parts are played by Surabhi Lakshmi, Basil Joseph, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Krithi Shetty.
Kishkindha Kaandam (September 12)
The narrative takes place in Kallepathi, a region populated by monkeys and encircled by dense jungle. A father and son with a tense relationship are portrayed by Asif Ali and Vijayaraghavan. Aparna seems to be an inquisitive young lady who is billeted at their residence. Overall, the teaser offers some captivating scenes with the mystery surrounding the main protagonists.
Kondal (September 13)
The trailer claims that the film is centred on Manuel, who returned from the Gulf but is now an alcoholic, and that it is set against the backdrop of a coastal community. It is evident that Kondal depicts a fight between the main character and a gang of powerful individuals in the locality that finally turns into a more severe battle.
Kadha Innuvare (September 20)
In this romance drama, Methil Devika and Biju Menon are the lead characters. Nikhila Vimal, Hakeem Shahjahan, Anusree, Anu Mohan, Siddique, Renji Panicker, Krishnaprasad, Appunni Sasi, Kishore Sathya, and Jordy Poonjar all had significant roles in the movie.
Oru Jaathi Jaathakam
A young man searching for a life partner is at the centre of Oru Jaathi Oru Jaathakam, according to sources. Kerala's Malabar area serves as the backdrop for the film. Vineeth Sreenivasan and Nikhila Vimal are the primary characters in this family entertainer.
