Since its theatrical debut, Kishkindha Kaandam, the most recent Malayalam film, has received nothing but positive reviews from the audience. The movie, which is directed by Dinjith Ayyathan, has now turned out to be the lead actor, Asif Ali's highest grosser in his career. 

Kishkindha Kaandam reportedly hit the Rs 25 crore mark at the global box office after eight days of release. The film is certain to surpass the Rs 50 crore milestone if it continues to have a similarly successful run in theatres in the days ahead. If so, it would be a significant accomplishment for the movie, which had a low production cost and a modest beginning at the box office.

Netizens praise Asif Ali's acting range

After Kishkindha Kaandam's theatrical premiere, the actor received praise for his subtle portrayal of an emotionally wounded guy named Ajayan. Many people expressed their appreciation on social media for Asif's latest screenplay choices, which have allowed him to demonstrate his range as an actor. He has also had the opportunity to play a variety of parts in films across various genres this year, including Level Cross and Adios Amigo. 

In Jis Joy's most recent investigative thriller, Thalavan, which is currently available for streaming on Sony LIV, Asif gave a powerful performance. The movie did not break any box office records, despite having a great run in theatres for more than 60 days.

Dinjith Ayyathan, the director of Kishkindha Kaandam, discussed Asif's efforts to inhabit the role in an interview with OTTplay. He asserted that every one of the three central characters had a unique emotional meter and dimension, especially Asif Ali's Ajayan. "Because Ajayan has experienced numerous tragedies and his mind is wandering across a different world, the actor has to handle him carefully," he stated. The director went on to say that Asif did an amazing job bringing subtleties specific to the role.
