Malayalam film, Kishkindha Kaandam, starring Asif Ali, has long been anticipated by movie buffs and fans of the actor. The makers have released its teaser today (August 17), confirming its release in Onam. Aparna Balamurali and Vijayaraghavan are also playing pivotal characters in this film, which will be running in theatres along with Mammootty-starrer Bazooka and Tovino Thomas’ period drama, Ajayante Randam Moshanam.

The filming of Kishkindha Kaandam was completed in 2023. The team began filming the movie in July of last year, with locations including Hyderabad and Kerala. The movie is directed by Dinjith Ayyathan, who previously helmed Kakshi: Amminippilla, which features Asif in the lead role and can be streamed on Sun NXT.
Jagadish, Ashokan, Nishan, Vyshnavi Raj, Major Ravi, Nizhalkal Ravi, Shebin Benson, Kottayam Ramesh, Bilas Chandrahasan, Master Aarav, and Gibin Gopinath also play crucial roles in the film. The film is produced by Joby George under the banner of Goodwill Entertainments. Sameera Saneesh is in charge of costume design, and Sooraj ES is in charge of editing. The film's story, screenplay and dialogue are written by Bahul Ramesh.
