Kill box office collection day 1: Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, Kill stars Lakshya, Tanya Maniktala, and Raghav Juyal in the lead roles. The film took a decent start on its first day at the box office. The extremely violent film is co-produced by Karan Johar and Guneet Monga and was released in theatres on July 5.

Kill box office update

Marking the debut of Lakshya, Kill started its journey at the box office by collecting ₹1.35 crore. It will be interesting to see how the film performs on its first weekend.

Although Kill had a solo release in theatres, it is currently facing tough competition by Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD. The film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan is currently ruling the ticket window and still raking in double digits. Kill was earlier slated to clash with Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha but the makers of the film pushed the release date after the distributors and exhibitors requested the producers.

What is the story of Kill?

Kill revolves around Amrit (Lakshya) and Tulika (Tanya Maniktala). When Amrit boards a train from Ranchi to Delhi to propose to his love of life Tulika, Fani (Raghav Juyal), and his gang of thieves are on a killing spree on the same train. To save his love and other passengers, Amrit takes on his action mode and what follows is brutal action and gore sequences.

The OTTplay review of Kill states, "Watch it on the big screen if you can bear the violence, but beware and hold your popcorn tub tight and your guts intact."

Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, Kill is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Oscar winner Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment. The film is also set for an English remake which will be produced by John Wick director Chad Stahelski. The film is currently running in the theatres near you.
