Director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat's action-thriller Kill will be released in cinemas on July 5, 2024. Starring Lakshya and Raghav Juyal in the lead roles, the film earlier had its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in 2023. Cut to now, the makers are ready with its theatrical release in India. Produced by Karan Johar, Guneet Monga, Apoorva Mehta, and Achin Jain, Kill's OTT partner has been revealed as well. We know where the film will stream after its theatrical run ends.

Kill OTT partner revealed

Kill, featuring Lakshya as Amrit, will have its OTT premiere on Disney+ Hotstar once its theatrical run ends. While the film's streaming partner is revealed, the OTT release date of Nikhil Nagesh Bhat's movie is not known yet.

For the uninitiated, Kill also stars Ashish Vidyarthi, Harsh Chaya, Tanya Maniktala, Abhishek Chauhan, Adrija Sinha, and several others. The storyline of the movie is about Lakshya's Amrit, who finds out that his true love Tulika is engaged with him against her will. Once he learns the same, he boards a New Delhi-bound train, wherein a gang of knife-wielding thieves led by Fani (Raghav) terrorize the passengers on the train.

Lakshya on watching Kill at TIFF

Earlier, in an interview with Cosmopolitan India, Lakshya shared his experience of watching his film Kill at the Toronto International Film Festival.

"I was sitting bang in the middle of an audience of 1,700 people, and their unfiltered, most honest reactions were a massive validation for me as an actor, an artist, and for everybody who was a part of that film," he said. The actor added that he didn't have words to describe the experience as he had never been at the receiving end of such a thing before.

Meanwhile, Kill's clash with Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is reportedly averted. Both films were scheduled for a theatrical release on July 5. But the makers of Ajay Devgn's film have apparently postponed the release. This means, Kill will enjoy a solo release.
