Kiccha Sudeep’s Max teaser: Theatre will turn into stadium for THAT scene, exclaim fans

The much-awaited Max teaser dropped earlier today. The teaser was quite minimalistic, offering only glimpses of the film’s main cast, and very little of leading man Sudeep. As far as fans were concerned, though, all was forgiven with the last shot of the actor doing a little jig. That scene, they reckon, is all it takes for movie halls to erupt in celebration like a stadium. Many said that theatre owners ought to get insurance against any inadvertent damage that maybe caused when fans get jubilant during this scene.

Baa Baa Black Sheep gets intense

Fans also pointed out that the ‘mass’ teaser showcases Sudeep’s rage and swag. “Never imagined a nursery rhyme could sound so intense,” chimed in a few others. Overall, fans seemed upbeat about the teaser, although there were the odd comments that some expected more and were disappointed with it. Netizens were divided about the background score by B Ajaneesh Loknath, but the consensus was that this is only a minor sample and the final judgement should be only after the film comes out.

The Max teaser was released on 5 different YouTube channels, which didn’t exactly make sense, since the language spoken was only English. Keeping it on one channel would have been better, added fans.

Meanwhile, the latest about Max’s possible release date is that the team is looking at a window in October-November. Sudeep will promote the film on Bigg Boss Kannada when it returns for Season 11. It was earlier speculated that the film could take up the Independence Day slot that Shivarajkumar’s Bhairathi Ranagal vacated, but then it was later said that early September, for Ganesha Chaturthi is a good bet.

A crew member, though, insists that the team is still actively trying to ensure a September release, but with dubbing still going on, and that the film is going to be a pan-India release, it may miss that date and be pushed ahead after all.
