On the evening of December 6, social media was filled with what seemed to be footage from Kiccha Sudeep’s forthcoming film, Max. Brief clips featuring the actor from the film's interval segment were circulated, accompanied by claims that the trailer had been leaked, prompting fans to urge others to report any instances of it being shared online.
Kiccha Sudeep to Officially Release 'Leaked' Visuals from Max Amid Trailer Buzz
In response to this situation, the production team has confirmed that a sneak peek of the film will be released soon. Reports indicate that this will be the same video that was leaked earlier in the day. Karthik Gowda from KRG Studios announced that the sneak peek of Max will be available on Sudeep’s Instagram account on December 7 at 10:35 PM.
The leaked video, which is nearly one minute long, is filled with action. Considering that the film has a runtime of just over two hours and its narrative unfolds over a single night, there will be constraints on the types of visuals the team can disclose before the film's theatrical release.
With just 18 days remaining until the film's release, fans are urging the Max team to devise a coherent promotional strategy, which should encompass the trailer launch and various on-ground activities. The trailer is anticipated to be released within the week, with December 12 being the most probable date; however, the team has yet to confirm this. To date, there has been only one media briefing conducted by the team, and fans believe that the promotional efforts should have intensified by now.
During the recent press conference, Sudeep expressed his admiration for director Vijay Kartikeyaa's approach, noting that the story was straightforward and did not include unnecessary embellishments to cater to his star persona. He appreciated that the narrative focused solely on the essential elements, mentioning that the only aspect omitted was a romantic subplot for his character, which Sudeep deemed unnecessary.
