Released in the year 2006, the comedy-drama film 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' is still loved by the audiences even after 18 years of its release. The film features Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Ranvir Shorey, Parvin Dabas, and Tara Sharma in lead roles and keeps you hooked till the end. The film is now set for its re-release in the theatres on October 18, 2024, and talking about the same The Signature actor Kher hailed it as a 'fantastic cult film.'

Talking about how the film is a cult classic, Anupam Kher said that nobody makes a film thinking it’s going to be a classic. "We faced numerous difficulties during production, but it turned out to be one of a kind. Today, it has an amazing value for revisiting.” The actor also added that the film has an "amusing power" and that you stop and watch it even today when it's playing on TV. "The dialogues are iconic, and the characters are so entertaining and real that they create remarkable recall value," he added. 

Anupam Kher also said that he is delighted with the fact that today's generation will have a chance to watch the film on the big screen. “It’s what they call a cool film. The Gen Z audience often thinks Bollywood is all classic. But this is their type of film.”

Talking about the re-release of the film in the theatres, Kher said, "I am confident that Khosla Ka Ghosla will do well in theatres. People always want to watch films associated with their youth; they long to feel the same emotions after all these years.”

For the uninitiated, Anupam Kher and Ranvir Shorey recently reunited for the ZEE5 film The Signature, which was released on October 4. The film is also streaming on OTTplay Premium.
