Neeraj Pandey is back with Khakee, and this time, it’s all about Bengal. While the city is known as the "City of Joy," there’s a darker side that often gets overlooked. Khakee: The Bengal Chapter plot

In Kolkata, Khakee dives deep into themes of violence, corruption, and justice. Near the notorious Howrah bridge, there's a factory churning out bullets, marking the start of the chaos. Interestingly, bullets aren't always the go-to choice in the series, especially at the beginning.

Here's a brief overview of each character

Jeet is part of the police team alongside Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Mimoh Chakraborty, and Aakanksha Singh. Prosenjit Chatterjee and Chitrangda Singh both take on the roles of politicians. Ritwik Bhowmik's character is still under wraps, but it looks like he’s involved with a gang, similar to Aadil Zafar Khan and Saswata Chatterjee. Meanwhile, Pooja Chopra is likely to portray a housewife.

Khakee's message still stands strong

Jeet is heard saying, "Until things change, nothing will change." Before long, we see him in a position of power, while politics starts to creep in. This sets the stage for Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, which looks like it’s going to be an exciting journey.

Neeraj Pandey kicked off the Khakee series with a focus on Bihar. In 2022, he dropped The Bihar Chapter featuring Karan Tacker, Avinash Tiwary, and Abhimanyu Singh in the main roles. The show did really well on OTT, setting the stage for more chapters exploring different Indian states.

Directed by Debatma Mandal and Tushar Kanti Ray, Khakee: The Bengal Chapter is set to hit Netflix soon, although the exact release date is still under wraps.
