Khadaan: Dev plays father-son like Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan?

The film Khadaan's teaser was supposed to be released on August 14. But Dev postponed the release in the wake of the RG Kar protest. On Wednesday, Dev posted his photo on Instagram and wrote, “Get ready for this new world. 11 AM tomorrow.” The teaser was finally dropped on Thursday, after much anticipation from his fans.
Khadaan teaser goes viral
The teaser took no time to go viral on social media largely due to its catchy dialogues and Dev’s return to his action avatar. directed by Soojit Dutta, Khadaan also features Jisshu U Sengupta, Idhika Paul, and others. Dev is reportedly featured in the roles of father and son, like what Shah Rukh Khan did in the film Jawan. However, team Khadaan has not made any comment yet.
Dev loves to experiment
Dev recently turned forty. He became more mature with age and experimented with many out-of-the-box characters. He was sometimes trolled and sometimes praised for his efforts. However, he has a rare record which even Jeet or Prosenjit do not have. Till now, there are only three Bengali films which earned more than ten crores. The first two of them feature Dev as the lead – Amazon Obhijaan and Chander Pahar.
Khadaan is in the backdrop of the coal area. The film is produced by Surinder Films. However, the team does not want to reveal anything yet. All the answers will be found in the teaser.
