Suniel Shetty to play 14th century ruler in Kesari Veer?

Suniel Shetty is set to portray the character of Raja Vegdaji Bhil, the sovereign of Dron. According to a source, the actor will adopt a distinctive appearance in the film "Kesari Veer."

The source revealed that Suniel has been honing his horse-riding abilities and acquiring skills in traditional weaponry, including self-crafted spears, slings, axes, bows and arrows, knives, and swords that were prevalent during that era. He has also trained in archery, a skill well-known among the Bhils, as well as in guerrilla warfare tactics. In the film, he will present a unique look, featuring a pagdi, angarkha, and dhoti, complemented by a mustache.

The report further indicates that the film is packed with action sequences choreographed by South Indian action director Kevin Kumar, while the costumes have been designed by Chandrakant Sonawane.

In "Kesari Veer," Sooraj is anticipated to portray the role of 16-year-old Veer Hamirji Gohil, who sacrifices his life to defend a temple from the invasion led by Zafar Khan, a general under the Delhi Sultanate ruler, Alauddin Khilji. Veer allies with Vegdaji to confront the Mughal emperor in a protracted battle lasting ten days.

More than Rs 60 crore spent on Kesari Veer
