Dharma Productions recently marked the sixth anniversary of "Kesari," the film featuring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra, which received widespread acclaim from audiences. To commemorate this milestone, they shared a post that stated: "Celebrating 6 years of Kesari. Celebrating the spirit of Kesari. Celebrating a new chapter that begins... soon!"

In a move that heightened anticipation, Karan Johar shared on his Instagram stories, "Chapter 2 Loading…." The long-anticipated announcement was made yesterday, revealing that the film will be titled "Kesari: Chapter 2." In his latest Instagram update, Karan Johar confirmed the cast, which includes Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan, and Ananya Panday, along with the release date set for April 18, 2025. Prior to that, fans can look forward to the teaser, scheduled for release on Monday, March 24, 2025.

In his announcement, Karan Johar stated: "Some battles cannot be fought with weapons. The teaser for #KesariChapter2 will be released on March 24th, with the film set to premiere in theaters worldwide on April 18th." The promotional poster alludes to the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, which provides a historical context for the film, enhancing its significance.
