In theaters April 18th, worldwide." According to reports, the trailer will be unveiled tomorrow afternoon at an event in Delhi with the film’s team present. Kesari: Chapter 2 Teaser Has Been Unveiled

Recently, there were rumors that the biopic on C. Sankaran Nair had been renamed to Kesari: Chapter 2 – The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh, and now the creators have confirmed it with a teaser.

The teaser, which runs for 1 minute and 39 seconds, was released today and offers a sneak peek into the film. It sets the stage by showcasing the tragic events of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre—an incident that not only took many lives but also significantly impacted India's fight for independence.

In the teaser, the brutal reality of the massacre is depicted, highlighting how the injured and deceased were left in Jallianwala Bagh for 12 hours, with vultures circling around. We also see a courtroom scene where Akshay Kumar, playing C. Sankaran Nair, stands up against the British authorities. When confronted with the notion that he and his fellow countrymen are just slaves to the British, he defiantly responds, “Fck you.”*

However, the teaser doesn’t show any glimpses of Ananya Panday and R. Madhavan, so we might have to wait a little longer to see them.

Before revealing Kesari: Chapter 2, Karan Johar took a moment to share a touching message.
