R. Madhavan is certainly a multifaceted actor, capable of excelling in a variety of roles, be they antagonistic or romantic. He is set to appear in the film Kesari Chapter 2, produced by Karan Johar. The trailer for this film was unveiled today, April 3. At the trailer launch event, Madhavan discussed his experience portraying a negative character and conveyed his appreciation for the opportunity to share the screen with Akshay Kumar.

At the launch of the trailer for Kesari Chapter 2, R. Madhavan expressed his delight in sharing the screen with Akshay Kumar, who portrays C. Sankaran Nair. For those unfamiliar, Madhavan takes on the role of the antagonist, Neville McKinley, a lawyer. The narrative of Kesari Chapter 2 revolves around the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

Madhavan remarked, "When I decide to participate in a film, I consider the underlying purpose for its creation. This project represents Dharma, with Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta collaborating on Kesari Chapter 2 alongside Akshay Sir and director Karan Singh Tyagi, who is a Harvard law graduate, all of whom came together for this endeavor."

He also stated, "This has been a particularly frustrating period in our education, as we were required to memorize events that, as we matured, we came to understand were deeply troubling. Through discussions with others, we learned that this was a significant massacre. While working on the film, I recognized that this represents one of the largest genocides in history. I believe that no other narrative could resonate with me as profoundly as this one. I am indifferent to whether my character is portrayed as good or bad."
