Nevertheless, the rate of growth is not as high as the producers had hoped. After its opening weekend, the movie is on the verge of surpassing ₹50 crore globally, although it has not yet achieved this milestone.

After In just three days since its release, Kesari Chapter 2 has generated a net revenue of ₹29.50 crore (₹35.25 crore gross) in India, which is considered a relatively modest amount. As reported by Sacnilk, the film has performed well internationally, accumulating ₹14.50 crore, bringing its total global earnings to ₹49.75 crore. This figure has already exceeded the lifetime earnings of John Abraham's thriller, The Diplomat, which totaled ₹48.10 crore worldwide.

Although it is still early in 2025, Kesari Chapter 2 has become the sixth highest-grossing Hindi film of the year and is expected to break into the top five by the end of Monday, surpassing Shahid Kapoor's Deva. The film's ability to maintain its momentum on Monday will be crucial in determining whether it can climb higher on the list, with aspirations to surpass Sunny Deol's Jaat (₹92 crore) and Akshay's own Sky Force (₹149 crore).

Kesari Chapter 2 features Akshay in the role of C Sankaran Nair, a lawyer who challenged the British Raj to reveal the truth behind the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, joined by R Madhavan and Ananya Panday.

This film is a historical courtroom drama, marking the directorial debut of Karan Singh Tyagi, and is produced by Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective, and Cape of Good Films.
