Kay Kay Menon is one of the most talented actors in Indian cinema. The actor has played diverse roles in his films and web shows. This year, the actor treated the audiences with two back-to-back web shows. Kay Kay's web series Shekhar Home premiered on JioCinema and it was followed by the OTT release of his other show Murshid. Kay Kay plays the character of a mafia don in Shravan Tiwari's directorial. The latest poster introduces his character in a stylized manner.

ZEE5 dropped the new poster of Murshid on its Instagram handle. The poster features Kay Kay Menon as Murshid Pathan. The text on the poster reads, "Game bajata hai, aur chalata bhi hai! (sic)." While sharing the poster on IG, the makers wrote, "Mumbai Mafia ka avval khiladi, laut aaya hai apni power ko apne haath mein lene. Murshid streaming now, only on ZEE5 (sic)."

Talking about his character in Murshid, Kay Kay said that playing Murshid Pathan's character in the series was a thrilling experience for him. For Menon, Murshid was a compelling character, that of a former don-turned-philanthropist. He makes a comeback into the crime world to protect his family members.

Kay Kay Menon was the reason Tanuj Virwani did Murshid

Meanwhile, in an interview with Mid-Day, Tanuj Virwani said his co-star Kay Kay Menon was one of the major reasons why he said yes to doing Murshid. "My number one reason for saying yes to the project was the fact that Kay Kay Menon was front and centre," he told the tabloid. For the uninitiated, Tanuj plays Inspector Kumar Pratap Rana in the series. He is the adopted son of Murshid Pathan.
