We had earlier reported that actors Kavin and Nayanthara will be joining hands for the first time for a film directed by a debutant director. Now, the duo has completed shooting for the first schedule of the yet-to-be-titled project.

Actor Kavin, who is one of the promising young actors of Tamil cinema, is all set to work with Nayanthara for an upcoming Tamil film. The film will be helmed by lyricist turned filmmaker Vishnu Edavan in his directorial debut. It is to be noted that Kavin and Nayanthara will be collaborating for the first time with the upcoming project which is yet to get a title.

As per the latest update about the project, both Nayanthara and Kavin have completed shooting for the first schedule. In an interview given by Vishnu Edavan and Super Subu, who penned the recently released song Manasilaayo, it was confirmed about the shoot update.

The team has remained silent on the development of the project since it was first announced earlier this year. With both Nayanthara and Kavin having huge fan bases, it is expected that the upcoming film will cater to a wider audience.

Vishnnu Edavan’s Manasilaayo becomes hit

Recently, the makers of the Rajinikanth-starrer film released the first single from the upcoming Tamil film Vettaiyan. Called Manasilaayo, the song is penned by Vishnnu Edavan and Super Subu, with vocals by late singer Malaysia Vasudevan, Yugendran Vasudevan, Anirudh Ravichander, and Deepthi Suresh.

The song became an instant chartbuster. It is scored by Anirudh. Malaysia Vasudevan’s vocals were recreated using AI technology. Vettaiyan is scheduled to release on October 10 and is directed by TJ Gnanavel. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan and others. The rest of the tracks from the album are expected to come out soon.
